Baltic Event on EU Enlargement ‘25

The second Baltic Event on EU Enlargement was organised by the Baltic Initiative on European Reform and the Latvian Institute of International Affairs, with support from the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.

As beneficiaries of the previous large round of enlargement and as frontline countries on the EU’s eastern border, the Baltic States have useful insights for the next round. The event looked at how they can help make enlargement succeed in three areas: security, good governance and economic growth.

Experts, policymakers and civil society leaders from the three Baltic States, Germany, other EU Member States and candidate countries took part.
